SBS Nexus Berhad Advances Women Entrepreneur Recognition Through SHE Award 2026

SHE Award 2026 Recognises Women Entrepreneurs and Strengthens Business Connectivity in Malaysia

ShangHai Business Media’s annual women entrepreneurship platform brings together business leaders across industries while creating new opportunities for recognition, professional visibility and strategic collaboration.

KUALA LUMPUR, 30th October 2026 – The ShangHai Honourable Women Entrepreneur Business Award 2026 (SHE Award 2026) concluded on 27 October 2026 at the Grand Lagoon Ballroom, Sunway Resort Hotel, recognising women entrepreneurs and business leaders whose achievements contribute to Malaysia’s business landscape.

Organised by ShangHai Business Media, a subsidiary of SBS Group (Stock Name: SBS, Stock Code: 0386), with the Group serving as Official Strategic Partner, SHE Award is one of ShangHai’s principal initiatives dedicated to recognising women’s leadership and professional achievements while strengthening connections within the business community.

Recognising Women Entrepreneurs Across Industries

This year’s SHE Award 2026 recognised 37 recipients across 11 industry categories, including healthcare and wellness, food and beverage, logistics, retail and e-commerce, professional services, property, technology and other sectors.

The programme also featured the SHE Icon Award 2026, a special recognition for outstanding achievement and leadership among this year’s honourees.

The ceremony welcomed YB Tuan Yuneswaran a/l Ramaraj, Deputy Minister of National Unity, as Guest of Honour, alongside business leaders including Datin Dr Winnie Loo, Founder of A Cut Above; Dato’ Alice Choon, Director of Poh Kong Holdings Berhad; and Datin Dr Norli Hj Alias, President of WAWASANITA.

Beyond recognising individual achievements, SHE Award brings together entrepreneurs, industry leaders and business stakeholders from different sectors, creating opportunities for greater professional visibility, knowledge exchange and new business connections.

Strategic Collaboration Formalised During SHE Award 2026

The evening also marked a new commercial milestone for the wider SBS Group ecosystem through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between SBS Digital Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and iBilik Group.

Under the collaboration, SBS Digital Holdings will serve as iBilik’s Strategic Growth & Marketing Partner, supporting the sales, marketing and commercialisation of hospitality media advertising opportunities across participating hotel properties.

The agreement was signed by Mr Martin Lim, Chief Business Officer of SBS, and Mr Dino Loh, Senior Managing Director of iBilik Group, and witnessed by Mr CM Wong, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of SBS, and Ms Michelle, Senior Managing Director of iBilik Group.

The collaboration demonstrates how platforms such as SHE Award can also create an environment for strategic relationships and commercial opportunities to develop alongside the wider business community.

Strengthening the Wider SBS Group Ecosystem

For SBS Group, SHE Award reflects the role that subsidiary-led platforms can play within the Group’s broader business ecosystem.

Alongside the Group’s capabilities across branding, marketing, media and events, platforms developed by ShangHai Business Media provide additional opportunities to engage entrepreneurs, industry leaders and business stakeholders across different sectors.

This strengthens SBS’s connectivity with the wider business community while creating potential for knowledge exchange, strategic relationships and longer-term collaboration.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr CM Wong, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of SBS, said:

“Women entrepreneurs are building companies and leading industries across the country, and their achievements deserve to be recognised. Through SHE Award, we aim to provide a platform where their contributions gain visibility and where businesses can develop connections that support future collaboration.”

Building on the Momentum

As SBS Group continues to develop its wider business ecosystem, initiatives led by its subsidiaries provide another avenue for the Group to engage with entrepreneurs, businesses and industry stakeholders across Malaysia.

SHE Award 2026 reflects this broader direction by combining recognition with business connectivity and creating a platform where relationships can continue beyond the event itself.

The Group remains focused on strengthening these connections and supporting initiatives that can contribute to long-term business development and value creation.
